HEATHER O’NEIL

I received my MSW degree from the University of Denver in 1997, and I spent several years working in the Denver Metro area providing individual, family, and group counseling for non-profit agencies. This invaluable on-the-job training gave me access to wonderful mentors and supervisors who helped to cultivate my clinical skills.

I became a licensed social worker in 1999 with the Colorado State Regulatory Board. At that time I also became interested in the mind/body connection and how we hold emotion and trauma in the body. This led me to becoming a certified yoga instructor, and I often utilize a body awareness piece in my work with clients.

Outside of my practice, I’m passionate about travel, reading, and spending time with my family.
